Good News Sunday – October 12

Church Family—I invite you to join me beginning today in praying daily and preparing for our upcoming Good News Sunday on October 12.

You might be thinking: Isn’t every Sunday a Good News Sunday? Of course!

So how will this particular Sunday be different? We’re challenging our entire church family to pray for and invite family, friends, neighbors, and others who do not have a church home to join us for worship services that will be heavily focused on calling people to begin or return to a right relationship with Jesus Christ. Visitors will be blessed by our welcoming atmosphere, our music, and a simple and clear gospel message with a call for response. Those who attend will see and hear from believers of all ages in our church, using their gifts to praise the Lord and sharing about the transformation the Lord has brought into their own lives. We will have opportunities for people to hear God’s Word in multiple languages and various ways. It truly is going to be an incredible day, and we are asking the Lord to move in powerful ways.

For the next month, please join me in asking the Lord to lay on your heart the person or persons for whom you will pray daily and perhaps invite to join us on October 12. Join me also in praying for the fruit of this day, that we will see hearts changed and lives restored on Good News Sunday!
