Finding your place in a local church is not always easy. Churches, like any other group, are made up of people, and people are not perfect. South Tulsa Baptist Church is made up of perfectly imperfect people who serve a perfect God. That’s why we boldly proclaim the name of Jesus. We confess that Jesus is the Lord and Leader of our lives. We believe the Bible is trustworthy. We are confident that God’s promises in and through Jesus will never fail us.

We are people committed to “Sharing the Good News about Jesus in our community and around the world.” Our church itself is a community of faith made up of individuals and families of all ages and from all walks of life. Together, as a church family, we are committed to walking in faith together as the Early Church is described in Acts 2:42-47, through Biblical teaching, fellowship, prayer, service, and worship with glad and sincere hearts. We invite you to join us as we proclaim the Good News about Jesus together!

Activities for all ages

A typical service will last about 60 minutes. Our 8:30 a.m. worship service is led by our praise team with guitars, keyboard, and drums offering modern worship songs and newly arranged hymns. Our 10:50 a.m. worship service is led by choir and orchestra, offering a blend of hymns, modern worship songs, and all styles of music. There is childcare available and/or Sunday Bible Study Groups for all ages at 9:40 a.m. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people. Our 5:00 p.m. worship service combines praise and teaching in the Chapel.

If you’re a new member, first time guest or have been attending South Tulsa for a while and would like to find out more about our church then we invite you to attend our Discover South Tulsa class on Sunday, February 4, at 12:15 p.m. We meet in the Fellowship Hall just after the 10:50 a.m. worship service for lunch, a look into the history and heart of South Tulsa Baptist Church, and to let us get to know you better. A Discover South Tulsa class is scheduled each quarter. If you’d like to attend or need more information, please email Cindy or call the church office.
