South Tulsa Kids

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me...”

Matthew 19:14

WELCOME to South Tulsa Kids!
Kids represent the greatest opportunity for long-term Kingdom impact. Kids who know the Lord at an early age discover God’s purpose for their lives and have hope for the future. South Tulsa Kids is committed to helping guide kids to knowledge of scripture and a personal relationship with Jesus. We desire to partner with parents in the discipleship of their kids and provide weekly opportunities for them to encounter the Lord. We would love for you to be part of our kids ministry!

Sunday Worship

8:30 & 10:50 a.m.
Elementary kids attend worship with their families. We believe it is important that families participate in corporate worship together. During these times kids learn to see themselves as members of the intergenerational community of faith. They get to see the sacraments, participate in prayer, hear the preaching of the Word, and learn that faith is not only for adults, but it is also for them. We provide children’s worship bulletins and worship note guides. We also have sensory support items available (i.e. weighted blankets and noise cancelling headphones).

Sunday Bible Study

9:40–10:40 a.m.
During the Sunday Bible Study hour, kids participate in small group classes by grade work to build a foundation for faith. Through videos, music, activities, and more, kids open scripture and connect biblical events to God’s ultimate plan of redemption through Christ. 5th and 6th graders participate in our preteen ministry that focuses on helping them own their faith for themselves and apply it to what they are dealing with right now. In these classes, boys and girls make lasting friendships as their grow in their relationship with the Lord.

Sunday Nights

5:00–6:00 p.m.
During Sunday night worship, kids gather to play games, memorize scripture, and learn foundational faith truths.

Wednesday Nights

Kids Choir | 5:30–6:30 p.m. | September – May
Through choir, kids have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of music, the meaning of God’s Word, and Christian principles. Our nine choirs (age 3 to 6th grade) work on scripture memory, worship songs, and hymns, as well as performances for Christmas and spring programs.

RAs & GAs | 6:30–7:15 p.m. | September – May
Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action are missions discipleship groups for boys and girls in 1st through 6th grades. They grow closer to God as they discover their part in His plan and practice what they learn through hands-on mission opportunities.
