Why we give.

Giving is a vital part of spiritual formation and maturity. It requires two things of us:

Faith – Giving is an active expression of my faith. It recognizes God as my True Provider. It affirms my confidence in His ability to supply all I need. It is an act of gratitude and dependence and allows me to partner with God and His work through my church and in the world.

Faithfulness – Giving requires the highest standard of personal integrity and discipline. It is not a casual or occasional thing. In 2 Corinthians 8-9, the Bible teaches us to give willingly, generously and cheerfully. Our giving pattern should reflect a regular and systematic plan. In Malachi 3:10, we learn God’s standard of the tithe the first tenth being set apart in all of our earnings as a gift to God. Through our tithes and offerings, we prove faithful in the stewardship of all God has provided for us.

With these two principles in mind, the opportunity to give online is available to prioritize and expedite your personal plan for giving.

Ways to give.

Give Online

Our Online/Mobile Giving is a secure, mobile-friendly option where you can login with your phone number or email. A secure code will be sent to you to confirm your sign-in if you use your phone number, or use a password for the email option. After you specify the amount and fund(s) you would like to donate to, you may specify payment by ACH/Bank Account (best option – cost to church is $0.30 per transaction) or debit/credit card (cost to church is 1.2% of the gift). Please consider setting up a recurring gift as a continual payment, which is one way to demonstrate tithing of “first fruits.”

Give In Person

Just place your check (payable to South Tulsa Baptist Church) or cash in the offering during any worship service. To receive tax deductible donation credit, please use a South Tulsa offering envelope or a check with your address on it. Checks may also be mailed to the church office (10310 S Sheridan Road, Tulsa, OK 74133). If you have any questions, contact our Financial Manager, Laura Forney, or call (918) 528-1155.

Give via Text

Text to Give is a fast and safe way to give at South Tulsa Baptist Church. Simply text the amount followed by the initials STBC to 45777 (Example: 100 STBC), follow the sign-up link, enter your credit or debit card information, and submit. This way of giving uses industry-leading security to protect your personal information and save your card info so you can now give on the go. Your phone bill will never be charged, and your phone number is safe with us.
