Tonight is a Can’t Miss

By Eric Costanzo

On Easter Sunday, 2017, our children here at South Tulsa brought their full giving buckets forward during worship to kick off our “A New Day at South Tulsa” campaign. The goal of the campaign was to pay off the debt our church had carried for many years. Through God’s faithfulness and the generosity of our church family, we accomplished our goal in less than 18 months! Since then, God’s blessings have continued to abound...

Tonight at our Vision Gathering 2 we’ll look back with thankfulness on some of the amazing things God has done in our church since our first Vision Gathering four years ago, while also looking ahead prayerfully to what lies ahead.

Looking back there is much to celebrate! Since 2018, our missions reach has grown exponentially. We have new partnerships around the world among unreached and unchurched people. Here in Tulsa, our community missions and outreach footprint has also grown tremendously including our international and refugee ministry, opening Jenks CarePoint (2019), continued outreach through our Ministry Center, chaplaincy program, and many other church ministries.

In terms of our capital projects, we have completed or approved nearly $1 million in facility improvements or renovations without any debt or any capital fundraising campaigns. Some of the larger projects include our Worship Center sound panels (2018), our Chapel renovation (2019), and our new SouthTulsa Kids Entrance and Children’s Library (2021), and several sets of restrooms all over our main campus (2019-2021). We have also greatly increased our investment into our Legacy Fund, which will help provide for the ministries of future generations of South Tulsa families.

As we look forward, we will be talking about future plans for missions, community outreach, and facility improvements for all age groups. Please make plans to join us this evening at 6:00 p.m. for our Vision Gathering. These are very exciting times in the life of South Tulsa!
