What is discipleship?
Discipleship is our lifelong journey of following Jesus as we grow in Christlikeness as the Family of God.
Through small groups that complement our worship and Bible Study experiences,
our goals are to strengthen:
• Biblical understanding for the Christian life
• Relationships in our community of faith
• Foundations of faith in our homes, church, and neighborhoods
• Mission of welcoming and sending so that our personal and church commitment to make disciples remains constant until Christ returns.

Our fall discipleship groups are using a study written by the South Tulsa Baptist ministerial staff designed to complement Pastor Eric’s sermon series through the book of Philippians. Each week’s study will help participants dig deeper into God’s Word through personal reflection, group discussion, and practical application.
Discipleship groups encourage and build you up in your faith as you follow Jesus. Our small groups for men, women, couples, and families meet at church, in homes, or other locations. On Sunday nights from 4:30-6:00 p.m., kids (birth-6th grade) dive into Paul’s letter to the Philippians with an interactive video series, scripture memory, and games. On Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:15 p.m., kids join our Music and Mission activities where they learn about worshiping God through music and God’s Great Commission to His church—to go and share the Gospel!
