What is discipleship?
Discipleship is our lifelong journey of following Jesus as we grow in Christlikeness as the Family of God.
Through small groups that complement our worship and Bible Study experiences,
our goals will be to strengthen:
• Biblical understanding for the Christian life
• Relationships in our community of faith
• Foundations of faith in our homes, church, and neighborhoods
• Mission welcoming and sending so that our personal and church commitment to make disciples remains constant until Christ returns.

Our discipleship groups will use a study written by the South Tulsa Baptist ministerial staff designed to complement Pastor Eric’s sermon series through the book of Philippians. Each week’s study will help participants dig deeper into God’s Word through personal reflection, group discussion, and practical application.
Join us in September and be a part of a discipleship group that will encourage and build you up in your faith as you follow Jesus. There will be small groups for men, women, couples, and families. Groups will meet at church, in homes, or other locations. On Sunday nights from 4:30-6:00 p.m., kids (birth-6th grade) will also dive into Paul’s letter to the Philippians with an interactive video series, scripture memory, and games. On Wednesday nights from 5:30-7:15 p.m., kids will participate in our Music and Mission activities where they learn about worshiping God through music and God’s Great Commission to His church—to go and share the Gospel! Parents in discipleship groups meeting outside these times will need to make their own childcare arrangements.
