At South Tulsa Baptist, we offer many opportunities to grow in our relationship with God. In addition to our Sunday morning Bible study groups, we offer many other Bible studies.
Perspectives on the World Christian Movement | Tuesdays
You Were MADE FOR MORE!
Use what’s in you to bless the world around you!
Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is "the single best discipleship course to open our eyes to God’s work in the world and God’s call on our lives" according to JD Greear. Perspectives is a 15 week life and learning opportunity that will change the way you view the world around you. In it, you will have your eyes opened to the heart and purpose of God, and how you can take part in His work all over the world, from the urban streets of America to the rain forest and deserts of distant lands. A fantastic array of pastors, theologians, international missiologists and mobilizers will challenge and inspire you with their personal experiences that will open your eyes to see just how big God is, and how much He desires that all might come to know Him. Whether you are single, married, a student, a homemaker, a professional or retired, Perspectives will bless and challenge your life and direction. Starting Tuesday, January 15, 2019, from 6:00- 9:00 p.m. in our Chapel. The first 30 people from South Tulsa who sign up will get a $50 scholarship, and sign up before December 15 for a $25 discount! Ladies Bible Study | The Book of Ruth | Wednesdays
The Book of Ruth by Bianca Juárez Olthoff is an 8-week course meeting on Wednesday evenings, staring September 12 in rooms D165-166, from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m. Child care is provided. God can seem distant when dreams fade, people die, or careers fail. Ruth and Naomi’s story begins with the worst—death, famine, and poverty. The book of Ruth doesn’t end with despair but with hope because God continuously moves behind the scenes. Walk this journey and discover the devoted love of God and His transformative power in our lives. Please contact Debby Arnold at email@example.com if you are planning to attend to reserve your workbook.

Men's Bible Study | Finishing Strong | Wednesdays
Men of all ages are invited to join us beginning September 19, 6:00-7:15 p.m. in room D174. The study will be focusing on the Bible and a book called Finishing Strong – Going the Distance for Your Family by Steve Farrar. According to Farrar, “the man who hangs in there for the long haul with his wife, his kids, and his Lord is an exception these days.”
This is a good way to take a break mid-week, step in with other men, and be inspired to run hard the rest of the week for Christ.
Singles Bible Study | The Book of James | Wednesdays
All single adults are welcome to join us for a new Bible study – The Book of James, beginning Wednesday, September 19, 5:30-6:30 p.m. in room D172.
Precept Bible Study | Ezekiel | Thursdays
Ezekiel Part 1 - Then You Will Know That I Am the LORD will be on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. beginning September 6 (10 lessons), workbook will be available in the church office in early August. Please complete first lesson before the first class. God appointed Ezekiel as a watchman to warn his people of coming judgment. Seeing visions and performing signs, he called individuals to turn from wickedness to righteousness because God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked. How does this message of Ezekiel apply to you? Are you grieved about the sin everywhere you look? Do you long for justice?
