The day of our Vision Gathering has finally arrived. Preparation for this evening’s event began months before our A New Day at South Tulsa debt-payoff celebration in July and has continued until today.
Our verse for the Vision Gathering is not only appropriate for the evening’s event, but is also a long-term goal for our church: I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world (Romans 1:8).
Did you know?
We currently have 40 different countries represented on our campus on a weekly basis, 14 partnerships around the world, and five families or individuals serving on the field internationally.
Of the 650 households (1300+ people) that are active in our church, more than 60% are over the age of 60.
Those who are ages 61-100 in our church give nearly 70% of all of our budget giving.
Every person who comes into the Ministry Center and Jenks CarePoint has the opportunity to hear the Good News about Jesus. Both centers serve hundreds of families who face generational poverty, situational poverty, or simply need support integrating into our community from other cultures.
Our Music and Worship Ministry is committed to maintaining a blend of contemporary and traditional music that facilitates worship for all ages, while teaching those who are younger the deep roots of the music of our Christian faith.
Our Family Ministry Team is constantly seeking the Lord in hopes of reaching and supporting the discipleship of young families and singles in our church and beyond.
Our communications team is committed to using every platform and tool available to connect and communicate with thousands of people within our church, community, and around the world.
This is just a taste of all that will be discussed this evening. Our prayer is that you will participate in this very important moment this evening with anticipation and excitement for all that God is doing at South Tulsa.
