Our Online Service team developed a vision for reaching the residents at the retirement homes in our community in January of 2013 by taking our church to the retirement homes. Our Lord has opened many doors and our Online Service ministry has expanded from viewing by one retirement home with 15 residents participating to eleven retirement homes with over 150 residents participating.
Our goal is to engage the members of South Tulsa Baptist in orphan care in big and small ways while never losing site of the goal to make sure every child grows up in a permanent family. Whether you have just a few minutes, a few hours, or even a lifetime to give, I pray you will join us on this journey of fulfilling the call of Isaiah 1:17 “Learn to do Right; Seek Justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the Fatherless: plead the cause of the widow.” and James 1:27 "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
An estimated 153 million orphans world-wide are trapped in a cycle of hopelessness, needing love, care and protection. Adoption costs of $20-30K seem “financially impossible” to many Christian families. This can result in orphans missing out on Christ honoring forever families.

"Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind, press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 3:12-14)

The marriage ceremony is one of the most sacred and beautiful of all the services of the church. It is more than a social occasion; it is a worship service in which a man and a woman, in the company of their loved ones and friends, pledge themselves to each other before God, and are unified by Him in holy wedlock.
