The Christmas Dinner Theater is a church-wide project intended to enhance relationships within the church family and at the same time, provide a unique outreach tool to the community. Auditions take place in September and rehearsals begin in October. There are five presentations: Tuesday (Community Night), then Thursday through Saturday night with a Saturday matinee. The evening performances, complete with candlelight dinner served by waiters and waitresses, provide a wonderful opportunity to invite neighbors and friends to hear the gospel in a unique setting.

Christmas Dinner Theater 2017 | November 30-December 2 - A Perfect Christmas
Christmas Dinner Theater is a 26-year tradition at South Tulsa Baptist Church. Enter the Commons to the sounds of lovely Christmas music performed by the Adult Handbell Choir, then move into the transformed Gym to enjoy an elegant candlelit dinner followed by A Perfect Christmas, a fun musical that the whole family will enjoy. A Perfect Christmas is a musical theater production that follows the story of two families that are a bit dysfunctional and how their holiday celebration is driven to distraction by their perfectionist father who does everything “by the book.” Both families are in desperate need of getting their life priorities in the proper perspective and finding their true source of joy.

Community Night is November 28 at 7:00 p.m. Performances are November 30–December 2 at 7:00 p.m. with a free matinee on Saturday, December 2 at 1:30 p.m. All seats are reserved.
