At South Tulsa Student Ministry we feel that it is important to be God’s hands and feet to our local community. In the past, our youth group has worked with: The Ministry Center, Tulakogee, DaySpring Villa, and various other community focused projects. We are excited to be a part of the Jenks CarePoint! Each summer our students work at the Bandon Trails Apartments or our Ministry Center/CarePoint for an event called Mission Week. Our student ministry is involved in local mission projects like these several times a year.
MISSION BELIZE: CENTRAL AMERICA
Our Student Ministry has taken an active role each Spring Break to do missions in Belize. Belize is a great place for our students to be introduced to International Missions for several reasons. It is English speaking, it’s low in cost for an international trip, it’s just a short flight away, and most of all people’s lives will be changed – including ours! The trip costs $1,600 and will require you to be involved in our monthly lunches for our church and on-going mission’s training. Spots are limited! A PASSPORT is required.
Coffee 4 Missions
Our students are selling 8 oz bags of Brazilian coffee from Coffee 4 Missions (the coffee served on Sunday mornings) for $10 per bag to support their trip to Belize. Regular and decaf are available. ORDER NOW.
