At South Tulsa Student Ministry we feel that it is important to be God's hands and feet to our local community. In the past, our youth group has worked with: The Ministry Center at the Alan Davis Building, Tulakogee, Day Spring Villa, and various other community focused projects. We also have a huge city wide event at our church called Care Xplosion every November that involves youth groups from all over the Tulsa area. Students bring canned food and particpate in a night of worship and encouragement. We also participate many other types of evangelism projects like Christmas Meal Outreach, Ministry Center Days, Disaster Relief and GROW. We also work at the Bandon Trails Apartments for an event called Mission Week. Our student ministry is involved in local mission projects like these several times a year.
MISSION BELIZE: CENTRAL AMERICA
(EVERY SPRING BREAK!) $1600
We’ll once again be going to do missions in Belize this coming Spring Break. Belize is a great place for our students to be introduced to International Missions because: It is english speaking, it’s low in cost for an international trip, it’s just a short flight away, and most of all people’s lives will be changed including ours! The trip is $1600 and will require service projects and training. Spots are limited! A PASSPORT is required.
