Ministry Financial Plan – An Opportunity in Grace and Generosity

Dave Bender

“We want you to know, brothers and sisters, about the grace of God that was given to the churches of Macedonia. During a severe trial brought about by affliction, their abundant joy and extreme poverty overflowed in a wealth of generosity on their part.” – 2 Corinthians 8:2-3

South Tulsa Church family, we are in unprecedented times and our community and world needs the love and Good News of Jesus Christ more than ever. We are a church family full of grace and generosity, similar to the Macedonia churches Paul is sharing about. Our committees and staff believe the 2020-21 Ministry Financial Plan embodies this grace and generosity with action.

The Ministry Financial Plan for 2020/21 is available for your review online on our Church Family Page (, password – stbc10310). Please read through the plans carefully. Our committees and staff have committed these activities to the Lord and have asked for His leadership as we prayerfully developed this budget. South Tulsa’s fiscal year begins July 1, 2020.

In our worship service this Sunday, we begin sharing Giving Moments so we can better celebrate the many ministries we are subscribing to in our new budget. In these uncertain times, we believe this is a conservative budget as we are already giving at the level needed to meet the 2020-21 proposed budget. We had two Question & Answer sessions this week and we plan to vote on the proposed budget at the end of Quarterly Conference at 1:00 p.m. on this Sunday, May 3.

Please prayerfully consider sacrificing and giving to our Lord and the ministries of the 2020-21 Ministry Financial Plan.
