Our international missions partnerships are one of the fastest growing areas of ministry in our church here at South Tulsa. Taking the Good News about Jesus around the world is a unified commitment of the entire denomination, which is why we remain firmly committed to the Cooperative Program (CP) of the SBC. Through CP giving, we partner with missionaries and churches in more than 120 countries.
In addition to our IMB partnerships, we also have mission partners in many parts of the world including North America, Central and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and East Asia. Our International and Refugee ministry serves families from more than 35 countries who are here in Tulsa.
Romans 10:13-14 tells us: “‘For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”
We are living out Romans 10:13-14. We are touching lives around the world by meeting physical needs as well as discipling believers and sharing the Good News with those who have never heard. A wonderful thing that happens when we start praying for, financially supporting, and/or going on mission – God captures and changes our hearts and lives.
Tonight, at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel, we are featuring each of our International Mission partners. We would love for you to come and see what the Lord is doing in our church through these ministries.
